                The Pantera: 1987 Detomaso Pantera GT5 S

                The engine that Lee Iacocca gave to Shelby in 1987 for their original secret Pantera experiment was found by Beau and his team in a SoCal junk yard, where it had sat dormant for nearly 30 years.

                ENGINE: Lee Iacocca’s 30-year-old Chrysler 360ci V8 Banks twin-turbo 5.9 liter engine calibrated at 660hp with top speed of 215mph.

                TRANS: Original Restored Pantera Transaxle ZF DS-25/2

                TIRES: New stock-spec Perelli tires on original wheels

                SUSPENSION: Restored original

                Big Chief built The Crow for MegaRace to compete with Richard Rawlings and Alex Laughlin, beating Alex back to back to win. The original Crow got its name because if you race it, you will eat crow.

Thankfully both drivers walked away with no injuries and an incredible story to tell.
